If you are a California resident, see the section "Your California Privacy Rights" below.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:
Identifiers
Name, email address, phone number, mailing address, IP address, device identifiers, browser type, operating system.
Commercial information
Products or services you have requested, quoted, or purchased. Consultation appointments and communication history.

We do NOT collect: Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, financial account numbers, health information, biometric data, precise geolocation, or information about your race, religion, sexual orientation, or union membership.
2. How We Collect It

Automatically — through cookies and tracking technologies when you visit our site.
From third parties — from Google (when you click one of our ads), from review platforms (Yelp, Google, Houzz, Angi, BBB) when you post a review, and from public business directories.
3. How We Use It

To comply with legal obligations (warranty records, tax records, permit records).
To protect against fraud or misuse.
We do NOT use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you. We do not sell your personal information for money. However, under California law, our use of advertising cookies may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising — see Section 6.
4. Who We Share It With
We share personal information with the following categories of third parties, only as needed for the purposes stated above:

Booked customer records: 7 years (for warranty, tax, and permit compliance).
Website analytics data: 14 months (Google Analytics default) then aggregated only.

You may request earlier deletion — see Section 7.
6. Your California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) give you the following rights:
a. Right to Know
You may request that we disclose what categories of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources we collected it from, the purposes we use it for, the categories of third parties we share it with, and the specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
b. Right to Delete
You may request that we delete personal information we have collected about you, subject to certain exceptions (e.g., completing a transaction, warranty compliance, legal obligations).
c. Right to Correct
You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
d. Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing
We do not sell your personal information for money. However, our use of advertising cookies (Google Ads, Google Analytics) may qualify as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under CPRA. You have the right to opt out of this sharing. See Section 8 for how.
e. Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information
We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by CPRA. This right does not apply to our practices.
f. Right to Non-Discrimination
We will not deny you services, charge you a different price, or provide you a different level of quality because you exercised any of these rights.
g. Global Privacy Control (GPC)
We honor Global Privacy Control browser signals. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we will treat it as a valid opt-out of sale/sharing.
To exercise your right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, please visit our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page.

Our website is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us at (714) 895-5100 and we will delete it.
12. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information — HTTPS encryption in transit, hosted-provider security (Squarespace), limited employee access, and secure business systems. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
